A practical cheat sheet for more holistic self-pleasure from a different perspective: improving your mood.
A while back I wrote Don’t Hold It, Boys: Let It Out, about not holding in your semen. (This is for the boys… girls, I’ll get to you next time.) I mentioned, briefly, that semen retention is more of a fad — with few to none knowing how to do it safely.
This can be unsafe and bad for you and your mental health.
I also suggested that, actually, we men should just:
Let it out.
I then asked if you wanted some tips. It seems you do.
So here is your cheat sheet on self-satisfaction. With an added buzz.
I know it is easy, as guys, to just slip your hands into your joggers and start tugging. But if you have a moment — or ten — try arousing yourself in a more holistic way.
Nope. I am not asking you to light candles and chant.
I am asking you to remember the last time you were with a partner. A one-nighter or more. Where on you they touched, licked, caressed, before they got down and horny with your dick. Remember, although this post is about the physical – i am writing it from an holistic point of view – the pleasure, the self-intimacy, the release, the sensuality – all benefits your mood and mental health generally.
The body is a potential erogenous zone.
That’s the body. All of it.
First tip: experiment
Find the sensitive parts that turn the heat up. Try:
- Stroking your neck
- Touching and caressing your nipples
- Under your arm, in the pit and around
- Inner thigh
- Perineum (the soft part between your ass and balls)
- Stomach — especially the pleasure trail if you have one, or thereabouts
Be slow. Gentle. Deliberate.
Touch your face.
Put some porn on if you want, if that’s your thing. Either way, be alone with your body. This is for you to find your own sexy buttons.
Again: where you touch and caress, and how this makes you feel — tingles, heat, cold, arousal — might surprise you.
If you do have porn on, try closing your eyes and using the sounds to complement your arousal and exploration. Maybe, if it isn’t overstimulating, have music on in the background too.
Nothing is necessarily “right” here. If a button, a porn scene, closing or opening your eyes doesn’t work — it’s just information for you.
What does work?
Stop.
Take a moment.
Please notice that these tips, this suggestion, this advice — hasn’t yet even mentioned your cock.
But.
If your curiosity is getting stimulated, thinking about how this experiment might help you — something is clearly happening.
So I am tempted to leave you to it. Leave it at that.
But sure: you might want a tip or two for when you do actually glide those hands down to your member. So here are two more.
When you do touch yourself
Take your time. Slow is key.
At times: stop, but keep your hand on your dick. Then squeeze the perineum for a moment. Not with your hands — using the muscle: tighten it.
As if you are stopping yourself peeing.
This in itself, over time — it has cumulative effects — can help you last longer and increase sensitivity in the penis.
And the rest of the body.
Which brings us to a third tip.
Third tip: loop it
Spend time, slowly, playing with your dick. Then squeeze the perineum. Then return to touching and caressing other parts of your body — nipples, chest. You might find they have now increased in sensitivity.
The body is your potential erogenous zone. Spoiler (unexpected) alert – did you know satisfying self-pleasure can improve your mental health? I may have mentioned it 😉
Until next time.
